Two groups of people usually call me.

Ages 18 to 30

You're supposed to know by now. You don't.

Maybe you're choosing a school or a major and aren't sure where to start. Or maybe you graduated, took a job, and it doesn't feel quite right. Most people choose based on what their friends did, what their parents suggested, or what sounded great in theory. That’s how smart people end up in the wrong place. We'll look at what you actually enjoy, what you're good at, and what careers fit you, not what sounds impressive at the dinner table.

Mid-career

You're good at your job. You're also stuck.

You've built a career. Now you want something else. Changing direction feels risky. Staying feels heavy. We'll sort out what's burnout and what's a real signal, what skills you can use elsewhere, and what new paths will work with your actual life.

Testimonials

I reached out to Mrs. Holtz when I was going through what I would call a "career crisis." With Mrs. Holtz's guidance, I gained clarity on how to stay in my current career and make adjustments that have helped me truly enjoy my work again. She helped me identify what is stimulating for my brain, what isn't, and what comes naturally to me vs. what doesn't. I owe her so much and thank her endlessly!

D., 23, Monsey, New York

As an American mother of a son who was in the process of making Aliya, I felt unable to guide him towards a career path that would be relevant, and even less idea of which schools would be suitable. Sari was able to help him create a vision for his future within just two short sessions. He articulated how impressed he was with her knowledge of the different systems, her willingness to help look for opportunities and connections within his field of interest, and he felt that he learned a lot about himself along the way!

N., East Brunswick, New Jersey

Well, it's official! I'm officially a licensed speech therapist in the State of Israel! Thank you for helping me get here! You've helped me be brave!

C., Zichron Yaakov, Israel

My conversations with Sari gave me the confidence to go out and start my own business. She asked the questions I was afraid to ask myself. She helped me see my strengths and get clear on my goals. Those conversations gave me the push I needed. I took the leap, and I’m really glad I did.

A bit about me

I'm Sari Holtz. I earned a master's in international relations mostly because I didn't know what else to do. I then spent 20 years in marketing for finance, SaaS, health tech, and nonprofit companies before becoming a Rockport Institute certified career coach. I’m also the host of the Second Chapter Careers podcast, where I explore different career options, brave pivots, and career missteps we can all learn from. Now I help people skip the detours I took.

But enough about me. Let's talk about you.
